Roberta E. Klein is founder of the Read With Me program in Coachellla Valley, California, and president of Read With Me Volunteer Programs. She has 40 years of experience with nonprofit organizations, including roles as a professional, a board member and a volunteer. She is committed to helping disadvantaged people develop to their maximum potential and encourages volunteerism among members of the community to improve the quality of life for all. She attended Columbia University and has a bachelor and a master’s degree from DePaul University in management of rehabilitation agencies. Roberta is author of five previous books under the name Roberta Nelson-Walker. They include Planned Giving for Social Service Agencies and Fund Raising for Social Service Agencies, published by High Tide Press in New Lenox, Illinois. Roberta and her husband, Clay are snowbirds and spend the summers in Incline Village, Nevada, and winters in Rancho Mirage, California.
